Netflix Sweet Home producer to build K-drama metaverse in the Sandbox
– The Sandbox has partnered with Korean drama production company Studio Dragon to build a K-drama metaverse.
– Studio Dragon will mint game item non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with its drama content for the K-drama metaverse.
– The Korean entertainment industry is actively entering the metaverse race, with competing K-pop labels HYBE, SM, JYP and Cube Entertainment announcing related ventures over the past year.
