A law firm that represents a crypto company is facing calls for disqualification after a video of one of the firm’s partners surfaced in which he appears to boast of using class action litigation to further the company’s interests.
The video of Roche Freedman partner Kyle Roche has prompted calls for disqualification in the Tether case not just from defendants but also from the firm’s own co-counsel.
In the Wright case, Roche allegedly referred to Wright in one of the video clips at Crypto Leaks as a nemesis of Avas founder, suggesting a motive to push hard against Wright.
The 11th Circuit motion is basically a test of whether judges can stomach Roches conduct. If they cant, Roche Freedman could be in big trouble.
